뉴스 프로그램에서는 거의 처음이자 끝인 사람이라고 볼 수 있는 사람인데..
음악계의 3대 테너가 있는 것 처럼 미국의 3대 빅 앵커가 있습니다. 그중에서 파바로티 급이라고 볼 수 있는 사람이죠
3대 앵커는
- Peter Jennings at ABC News : 피터 제닝슨
- Dan Rather at CBS News : 댄 래더
- Tom brokaw at NBC news : 탐 브로카우
best known for being the anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News for 22 years (1982-2004). He is the only person to have hosted all three major NBC News programs: The Today Show, NBC Nightly News, and, briefly, Meet the Press. He now serves as a Special Correspondent for NBC News and works on documentaries for other outlets.
Along with Peter Jennings at ABC News and Dan Rather at CBS News, Brokaw was one of the "Big Three" news anchors in the U.S. during the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s. The three hosted their networks' flagship nightly news programs for over 20 years, and all three started and retired (or died, in Jennings' case) within a year of each other.
Brokaw has also written several books on American history and society in the 20th century. He is the author of The Greatest Generation (1998) and other books and the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
이런 사람이 성희롱이라... 그것도 과거 같은 방송국 여기자에게... 역시나 그당시 브로카우의 권력이 방송국에서 어마무시했기 때문에

Linda Vester 라는 종군여기자인데... 그녀 왈 전쟁터보다 더 끔직한 전장이 바로 방송국이었다라고...
In a series of interviews with Variety conducted over several months, Vester alleged that Brokaw physically tried to force her to kiss him on two separate occasions, groped her in a NBC conference room and showed up at her hotel room uninvited. Two friends who Vester told at the time corroborated her story with Variety, and she shared her journal entries from the time period. Brokaw, who has been married to Meredith Auld since 1962, has never before been publicly accused of sexual harassment
브로카우가 그녀에게 강제로 키스를 하려고 했다고 하네요 한번은 방송국에서 한번은 그녀의 호텔방에서..
물론 그녀는 호텔로 브로카우를 촏애하지는 않았다고 합니다..
또한 브로카우는 후배에게 방송국에서의 경력관리를 위해 조언을 구했기 때문에 자기가 짬을 내서 만나줬다는 식으로 이야기를 하고
있습니다만...
